Ghost

Ice cream and pastry showcase

Ghost is a professional pastry showcase made with a completely transparent and imperceptible structure. An elegant choice, a showcase that enhances the product, which illuminates it and preserves it in an excellent way. It has an openable and heated front glass while the sturdy side supports are in LED-lit plexiglass.

The rear closure is made with an insulating roller blind and the motors can be internal or external. The refrigeration is ventilated but with attention to the type of product stored, with a constant and light distribution of the cold, which preserves the organoleptic characteristics of the sweets, cream and creams. The Ghost showcase can be equipped with the 4.0 ”Frigoconnect” technology for remote control and teleassistance.

FAQ

What heights and lengths are available for the Ghost Pastry showcase?

The Ghost Pastry showcase is available in three heights — 120, 137 and 150 cm — and three lengths without side panels of 115, 165 and 215 cm (123, 173 and 223 cm respectively with side panels). The combination of heights and lengths allows the display to be configured to suit the available floor space and the number of shelves required.

How many display shelves does the showcase offer, and how does capacity change with height?

The number of display shelves depends directly on the chosen height: 3 shelves in the H 150 cm version, 2 shelves in the H 137 cm version and 1 shelf in the H 120 cm version. Height selection is therefore the primary lever for increasing the display surface available for cakes, petit fours and individual portions.

How does the refrigeration system work and what storage temperatures does it guarantee?

The Ghost Pastry showcase uses a fan-assisted refrigeration system with a potentiometer for fan speed adjustment and automatic defrosting with on-off function. It operates at Temperature Class 3 (25 °C ambient temperature, 60% relative humidity) with an operating temperature of M2 (–1 °C / +7 °C), in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 23953-2:2016 standard. The control panel is fitted with an electronic thermostat.

What type of glass panels are fitted and what advantages do they offer in terms of safety and visibility?

The Ghost Pastry showcase features a tempered, heated front glass panel with downward opening, and laminated, tempered, heated side glass panels. The heated glass prevents condensation forming on the outer surface, keeping products clearly visible even in high-humidity environments. The side uprights are in Plexiglas with integrated LED lighting to maximise the display effect.

What finish options are available for the front and side panels?

The front and side panels of the Ghost Pastry showcase are lacquered in RAL colours from the Frigomeccanica catalogue colour chart. The RAL colour choice allows the showcase to be coordinated with the interior design of the patisserie or retail space, delivering a consistent visual identity without predefined colour constraints.

How is the load-bearing structure built and what materials are used for the interior?

The Ghost Pastry showcase has a base in tubular steel with epoxy powder coating, with fitting for wheels (supplied on request) and adjustable levelling feet. The enbloc body is lined throughout in stainless steel and insulated with injected polyurethane at a density of 38/40 kg/m³. The inclined refrigerated surface consists of removable stainless steel panels to facilitate cleaning.

What motor installation options are available and how is condensate drainage managed?

The Ghost Pastry showcase is available with an integral single-phase condenser unit or, on request, with a remote condenser unit for installations up to 10 metres away. Condensate evaporation is automatic with the integral motor; with a remote motor the condensate drain must be connected to the drainage system. Both solutions simplify technical management in the laboratory or retail environment.

Can the Ghost Pastry showcase be installed alongside an ice-cream showcase to create a single continuous display?

The Ghost Pastry showcase is designed to be installed in-line with the Ghost ice-cream showcase, making it possible to create a continuous display island that combines the pastry and ice-cream offer. Both showcases share the same design language — stainless steel and anodised aluminium structure, heated glass panels, RAL-lacquered side panels — ensuring aesthetic consistency across the full composition.

What are the internal lighting features and how do they enhance the products on display?

The Ghost Pastry showcase is fitted with high-luminosity LED shelf lighting and LED lighting underneath the payment surface, along with side uprights in Plexiglas with integrated LEDs. Together they create uniform, enveloping light that enhances the colour and texture of pastry products, with no shadow zones between shelves.
